Melody R. Malone

President & Principal

Melody has lived in Las Vegas most of her life after moving from Atlanta with her family as a young girl. She graduated from Las Vegas High School and, shortly after, married and raised four daughters. She owned and operated several small businesses during that time and in 2000, she and husband Mark Malone formed what would be the beginnings of Las Vegas Parking, Inc.
In the beginning, Melody worked every aspect of the business, from sales and marketing to operations, management and even valet parking. She was also instrumental in forming the newest addition to the Las Vegas Parking group, Limousines of Las Vegas Parking. When not leading the business, Melody enjoys spending time with her family, and is currently pursuing her college degree. She is a member of PTK honor society and was named to the National Deans List.

Janet Leavitt

Principal

Janet was born and raised in Utah, moving to Las Vegas in 1972. She is married to Mitchel R. Leavitt, the company’s Vice President, is the mother of four children, and a graduate of Dixie College. She was co-owner of Leavitt Kitchen Specialties from 1980 until 2004, when they finally sold the nicely profitable business. That business venture required inventory controls, sales, staff management and all other aspects of the business management. Janet is now co-owner of Las Vegas Parking, Inc., where her duties include staffing, accounting operations and overall contract analysis.

Mitchel R. Leavitt

Vice President

Mitch’s father, Lynn Leavitt, pioneered the valet parking concept in Las Vegas in the fifties. Mitch trained under his father when he was 16 and began working in the valet industry. He has worked as Attendant, Shift Lead, Supervisor, Operations Manager, Department Head, Consultant, and Owner. Mitch has been active with the local Boy Scouts of America program for more than 30 years and has served in various leadership positions in the local LDS community.

John Reilly

Corporate Secretary & Principal

John has worked in the valet industry in Las Vegas for almost 30 years as Attendant, Shift Lead, Supervisor, and Owner. He served as a volunteer for the Little League of Las Vegas for more than 12 years and has been a member in good standing of the local St. Viator’s Catholic Church.

Mark Malone

Consultant

At the age of 18, Mark started his valet parking career parking cars for the Chateau Vegas. In 1981, Mark took an opportunity with UPS as a delivery driver. During his 18-year career, he was recognized for many accomplishments such as: Safe Driving Awards, Driver of the Month and excellent customer service. In 1998, Mark and his wife started their own valet business, Master Valet Service, where they parked cars for the first PF Chang’s Restaurant in Las Vegas. In April 2000, Mark and his wife had the opportunity to expand their valet business and formed Las Vegas Parking, Inc. with partners Janet and Mitch Leavitt and John Reilly. Mark has worked in the valet industry for more than 20 years. He has long-standing ties to the community and has served in various leadership positions within the local LDS church. In 1978, he graduated from Las Vegas High School.
